RESEARCH

In my current book project, I look at instances of what I call “linguistic rupture” in U.S. Latinx lived experience through the lens of critical feminist phenomenology. I am specifically interested in examining the ideological relationships at the nexus of language, race, gender, class, and disability that create conditions for the dis-citizenship and disenfranchisement of marginalized populations in the United States. 

My research interests include:

• Contemporary Critical Phenomenology (esp. Latina Feminist Phenomenology)
